BIOGRAPHY

In 1988, I was born in the picturesque town of Inowrocław, located in the Kuyavian region of Poland. I pursued my studies in political science at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, where I completed both my BA and MA at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations. Following my graduation, I began a PhD program and successfully defended my doctoral dissertation in 2017, receiving honors for my critique of deliberative democracy through the lens of political philosophy and argumentation theory. Seven years later, I earned a habilitation degree for my research on political stability, subsequently attaining the position of associate professor at NCU.

I have authored or edited several books spanning topics from philosophy to political science and constitutional law. My collection includes over fifty publications related to comparative constitutional studies, political system stability, judicial politics, political philosophy, doctrines, and argumentation theory

As a researcher, my primary focus lies in system analysis and dialectical argumentation. I am particularly interested in the Central European area, with an emphasis on the Balkans, from the perspectives of diplomacy, geopolitics, and international relations.

In 2022, I was recognized for my scientific contributions with a Scholarship from the Minister of Science for outstanding Young Researchers

A defining aspect of my academic career is my commitment to fostering an international exchange of ideas and experiences. From 2022 to 2024, I held the position of mobility coordinator at the Faculty of Political Science and Security Studies at NCU. My teaching endeavors are primarily centered on international studies for foreign students. I have engaged in research and shared findings in various countries, including the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Denmark, Romania, North Macedonia, and others. These experiences were facilitated through programs like CEEPUS, the Initiative of Excellence, and Erasmus.
